Former Manchester United teammates Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs have joined forces again to launch a new hospitality management company, GG Hospitality.

The company will initially see Gary and Ryan launch two exciting brands – Café Football in Westfield in Stratford, London and Hotel Football next to Old Trafford.

The pair, who developed their love and enthusiasm for the hospitality sector from travelling the world, have brought together a team of industry experts to help orchestrate their ambitious plans.

Leading hotelier Stuart Procter is managing director and brings a wealth of award-winning hospitality expertise to the exciting new venture. The team is completed by real estate expert, KK Ho and financial director, Michael Harding, who has a keen commercial understanding of the sector.

GG Hospitality director, Gary Neville, said: “Throughout my career I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in some great hotels and eat in some of the best restaurants all over the world. I’ve developed a true passion for what makes these experiences not just enjoyable, but memorable.

“The vision for GG Hospitality is to be known for creating unique experiences for every individual, something we intend to prove with the first two brands in our portfolio – Café Football and Hotel Football.”

Café Football will be the first exciting venture to be launched, opening its doors in November 2013 in Westfield in Stratford, London. Feeding a love of food, fun and football with a menu created by two star Michelin chef, Michael Wignall, the unique restaurant concept will seat 100 guests inside, with space for 40 covers externally.

This will be followed by the launch of Hotel Football in 2014, which is on the doorstep of Old Trafford. With 138 rooms, friends, family and business people will find a relaxed, friendly and welcoming environment with football at its heart.

GG Hospitality director, Ryan Giggs added: “When you have experienced hospitality around the world, you soon learn what you like and what you don’t. Those experiences have helped me gain an insight into the things that make the difference, and we want to use this knowledge to bring a fresh innovative approach to the hospitality industry.

GG Hospitality managing director, Stuart Procter, added: “The aim is to use our personality to create unforgettable experiences. We want to be known for operating and managing businesses that bring people together, driving a new generation of hospitality management.”
