Gary Neville may be ‘garbage’ at cooking but luckily he won’t be taking to the kitchen when Hotel Football opens in December.
The former Manchester United defender was appearing at the Manchester Food and Drink Festival for a live cook-off event to promote the hotel’s menu.
With the Sky Sports pundit steering clear of the kitchen, the menu was devised by double Michelin starred chef Michael Wignall and will be cooked by executive chef Brendan Fyldes and his team.
Both chefs will make the move from Cafe Football, Neville and Giggs’ restaurant venture in Statford, London, which opened in 2013.
It includes football-themed dishes such as The Boss burger, The Treble Pies and Grass Root Salad
