Football Beyond Borders (FBB) is delighted to announce its newest partner – Café Football. The Westfield, Stratford City restaurant, owned by former Manchester United legends Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs, will host a Football Beyond Borders fundraising dinner with Santi Cazorla and Guillem Balague on the 9th of April.
The event will mark the beginning of a long term partnership with Café Football which has committed to support FBB by adding an optional £1 donation on all customer bills.
The proceeds from these donations will be an important source of income for the charity, at a time of rapid expansion, with the “FBB Schools” project now being delivered in four schools across London and over 100 young people involved each week.
The venue’s general manager, Liz Reece, said “Café Football London is thrilled to be working with Football Beyond Borders, not only in hosting its dinner, but as an ongoing partnership. We understand and believe in everything it aims to achieve and want to play an integral role in its future development. This partnership symbolises not only our love for the game but our belief that everything the beautiful game inspires can actually lead to a change in the lives of the people who play it.”
Jasper Schlump, Football Beyond Border’s Co-Head of Partnerships, said “This is a huge coup for Football Beyond Borders, we are very excited to be working with Café Football London. We have been impressed by their whole team’s welcoming and supportive attitude – the manager and the staff are brilliant.
